Why is my Kohler toilet tank not flat?
Put the nipple through the base of the tank and THE BLACK TOP PART OF THE BOLT WILL NOT GO THROUGH…… I just installed this gasket and now the toilet leaks in the middle beteewn the tank and bowl. Took it apart and checked everything out. Turns out the rear bolt hole in the tank must be out of spec because the Kohler rubber insert into the hole moved a bit too freely when compared to the the other two bolt holes which were nice and snug. The rear bolt is where it was leaking from.
