Is the release valve on my Bradford white water heater leaking?

The release valve is leaking and I just had this product installed in March. Bradford White model, RG250T6N, has a 6 year tank/6 year parts warranty. I have a external fields controls power vent system that is currently hooked up to my older Bradford white atmospheric vent water heater. Wondering if it will also work with this one.
