I believe the CH-240 has a make up water valve built in to the unit and controls its own pressure from there. If your water make up, is piped external of the unit in a more traditional boiler set up I would say bad expansion tank. I would also look into a cracked heat exchanger where your boiler water and domestic hot water are now mixing together.
