Bradford White hot water heaters have a thermal cutout to shut things off if it overheats; the manual says to reset it if it shut things down. And if it dies again? You either need to replace the faulty thermal cutout or need to fix something else that is malfunctioning that is overheating it. My problem is lack of hot water, not too much.
